Tattoos with a personal touch
Tattoos are personal.
Sure, you can have a dumb tattoo that doesn’t mean anything at all, but even that says something about who you are as a person. I make three kinds of tattoos. Flash, Customs, and Freehands.
Freehands:
Freehand tattoos are for free spirits. These designs are drawn or even painted onto your skin on the day of the tattoo. They flow excellently with your anatomy, and are inextricably linked to you and the shape of your body. These pieces of art will never exist anywhere but on your skin.
If any of this speaks to you
Flash:
You’ve seen it before, I post it, you like it, I tattoo it. Generally I make pure abstract flash (colors and shapes baby), still life flash (fun objects like wine glasses, fruits, and flowers) and floral bouquets (mostly scribbly boys)
Customs:
I do custom still life pieces and bouquets, no doubt. But custom abstracts are my favorite! Far and away my favorite way to design a tattoo is with you by my side. I like to get a general idea of what you want, and come to the table with 2-3 abstract mock ups on the day of the appointment. We’ll spend up to an hour playing with colors and shapes and work together to get the design just right. Maybe you can even do some scribbling! I love having both the artist’s and the art wearer’s hands evident in the abstract work. The joy of collaboration is wonderful and brings about some of the coolest art pieces I’ve ever made.
